Microsoft Dynamics GP January 2017 Hotfix....RELEASED

There is no slowing down right?  Year end for US and Canada and now a January Hotfix too?
Yes....someone always tells me change is good and everything is changing, fast!

The January hotfix is intended for code changes for U.S. Payroll taxes that require code to calculate the taxes correctly.  In this update we have a code change for Maine.  We also have an issue with 1095 forms for ACA if you print dependents.

Since we are releasing a "patch" we might as well put some critical fixes in there as well that our customers need.  I have those listed below by version.

Remember as always, these are all inclusive updates, so you can just install the latest and you are patched to current.

VAT Daybook
VAT Daybook Summary reports may not show correct data in boxes 1, 6 and 7 if you voided a transaction.
VAT detail report may show incorrect figures if you have 2 or more tax codes on a transaction.

General Ledger
The Excel copy and paste function may not calculate the credit/debit column correctly when using an allocation account.

Project Accounting
Ability to change line distributions for time and material projects in revenue recognition.
Fee Accounts not available in line distributions button.  (Fee button added to billing entry window)
Purchase Receiving's not reflecting WIP account edits from Purchase Order for non-inventory items.
Fixed Asset
Tax values may not update properly if a user marks to create multiple fixed assets in the Fixed Asset Purchase Order additional information window.
System Manager
Fixed issues with Uncollated printing.
Bank Reconciliation
You may experience performance issues with the Checkbook Register Inquiry window after you install GP 2016 R2.
Employee Self Service
Current timecards area will display and allow you to enter time on a completed timecard.
Payroll/Human Resource
Tax update changes for Maine.
1095-C forms may print incorrect dependent information for employees that worked for you in a prior year.
