Dynamics Portal: Entity List/Form Item Action type defaulting to 'Details'

Hi all,

I'm getting an annoying UI error where whenever I load an entity list or entity form, all item action types default to 'Details' even if they're not actually details. What's most annoying is if i make any changes to the record then save, all my item actions are set to 'Details'. For example, in the screen shots below, I created a 'Deactivate' item action then saved and exited the form, then returned to find it marked as 'Details'. The same thing happens if i toggle advanced settings too.

I've tried in chrome, IE, Edge, and firefox, all have the same issue. I've tried the old UI and the new UCI, no luck. Interestingly, one of my colleagues sees a javascript error on form load which i do not experience but it has no impact on the error. I've queried the JSON settings for these item actions and the settings are storing the correct values, it also works correctly in the portal itself, the only real issue is the UI always loads them as the wrong type so if i ever want to make changes, i have to re-do all these item actions.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you overcome it?

cheers,

Matt

Was getting this the other day, it also affected the Filters (if you were using them and you scrolled down the first tab - it would then make a change to them but only if you scrolled down to them).

I found there was a portal Solution file update available, and when I applied it resolved it Options and Filters issue (but it also rolled in all the other types of Portal not just the one I had installed, and gave an error on Field Service and Project Automation [which were not being used] - not a big issue just annoying).

Hi, yesterday I saw similar thread in powerusers forum, that sounds like a bug to me, I think you should raise a ticket with Microsoft
