Hello Forums,
I am looking for insight has it relates to the difference between the Remote Assist backend app versus the hololens app. Specifically their building blocks.
From my research the D365 administration of Remote Assist is done with basically a model driven Power App. Which this seem supported by the RA Microsoft documentation.
My question really is about the Hololen 2 D365 Remote Assist app; was it created with Power Apps?
Which makes sense since to get the app you go through the Hololens Microsoft Store app.
Hello,
All Remote Assist apps (HoloLens, iOS, Android) seem indeed to be created with Unity.
The Remote Assist model-driven app you mentionned is not an actual Remote Assist app, it is a bridge between Remote Assist data (call logs...) and PowerApp in order to provide a better integration between existing business process on power app and the Remote Assist activities.
To do a remote assistance, you will still need to use the usual Remote Assist app, there is no whitelabel version nor SDK for custom app integration)
Regards
