Inventory Dimension site issue while creating Production Order (FO)

Hi all,
 
I want to create a planned production order and from drop-down box select the Item.
Respected site and warehouse have been selected in the form. 
After click on Create button
Error shown /Inventory dimension Site is mandatory and must consequently be specified./
 
 
Error:
 
After selecting the site from the dropdown box and selecting the same site, the Planned order has been created.

    Hi Community user,
     
    Do you have this issue with all new to be created planned orders, several items or was it an incident? What exact version of Dynamics 365 are you using? Are there customizations in this area?
    I tried it in one of my playgrounds and don't have the issue like you have.

    I also try in different instance and not facing the error while creation of planned order.
    In all items, issue has been there.
    Current version of FO id : 10.0.37 (10.0.1725.47)
    As per my knowledge, there is no customization on this part.

    Hi Raj,
     
    When this is working in another environment, it could be a difference in configuration or still unexpected customizations. You can ask a developer to do some debugging to find the culprit.

    Hi Andre,
     
    I have debug the code and at the very first time it takes the "ALLBlank" value from the table InventDim. 
    Values is shown in the form but as per code, It is Blank.
     
    After selecting the Site once again, It takes the proper value from the table.

    Have you debugged the same in an environment where it is working correctly and checked for differences in the call stack? Were you able to identify why it comes with ALLBlank instead of the correct InventDimId value?

    Please check the below configs 
     

    Configuration of mandatory dimensions

    The mandatory setting varies depending on the dimension. Use the following to help you:

    • You can decide whether to set the storage dimension, Warehouse, to mandatory.

      Click Product information management > Setup > Dimension groups > Storage dimension groups.

    • You cannot set the remaining storage dimensions, Location and Pallet ID, or the tracking dimensions, Batch number and Serial number, to mandatory.

    When you set an inventory dimension to mandatory, the following configuration values also apply:

    • By default, the Blank receipt allowed check box is cleared and unavailable. This setting guarantees that you specify the mandatory dimension whenever you receive items into inventory.

    • The Blank issue allowed check box is cleared and unavailable by default. This setting guarantees that you specify the mandatory dimension whenever you deduct items from inventory.

    As per suggested by the Andre, we have removed all customizations from the form, but the error still exists.
     
    We have raised ticket to Microsoft regarding this issue and the issue has been resolved now.
