Power portal and custom domain: Possible?

Hello,

The information in learn about adding a custom domain to power portal is confusing:

Is it possible to publish dynamics 365 marketing events under a customer domain using power portal? Without hosting it externally? So change the whole domain not onlye the base?

    Hi Leco,

Thanks for the reply. Can you check if and when you have the below button "Add a custom domain name"? Unclear when this one appears.

According to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/portals/admin/change-base-url?source=recommendations, the button "Add custom domain name" is not there.

    Hi partner,

Based on the documentation you provided, I found the following information "however, the base domain must still be microsoftcrmportals.com". I think you could not customize the whole domain; you must suffix it with "microsoftcrmportals.com", the bolded part is the only thing you can modify.

    MySubdomain.microsoftcrmportals.com

I think it's hosted. If you chose to integrate with Power Apps Portals when you installed Dynamics 365 Marketing, your event website is hosted under a path such as MySubdomain.microsoftcrmportals.com/events/EventID.
