DirPerson.Name not showing as option on view

Hi all

Running AX 2012 R3 CU9

Trying to set up a view that links HcmWorker to DirPerson table, and it appears to be working - however, I can't pull through the DirPerson.Name, or First Name/Last Name - it's not showing as an option.

I also can't see it on the list of fields in the AOT in the actual table? However it shows on the table viewer.

How can I access this field in my view? It's never been an issue before when accessing through X++ code

    DirPerson is the table that extends from DirPartyTable table. DirPartyTable has a field Name. When you open table browser you also can see fields from main table.

    Hi Rustem

    This is true, and I spotted this - however, I would like to know why it isn't showing up, as this is not the first time I've run into a problem like this making queries/views.

    Also I feel DirPerson.Name is likely to be more accurate than (First name + " " + Last name) as we have some Spanish users who use multiple last names, etc. I will use this as a last resort but there must be a reason I cannot select this field when I can select others from the table (eg. Gender)

    Hi!

    Try to add DirPersonName table to a view. DirPersonName has that fields.
