Facing an error ""the value of the key exceeds the length of '128' while installation D365 SCM at laptop.

Vhd downloaded

Extracted to a new folder

Hyper V used ; Ran VM

Got administrator windows

Now got error at provisioning step

Please help me.

Hi,
You can also check out this blog, it mentions that when you try to execute the Admin Provisioning Tool and provide a domain user, you will get this error: the value of the key exceeds the length of '128'. There are some steps you need to follow before assigning it to your domain.

Did you create an app registration in Azure Entra ID and generate a certificate as explained in the documentation? Set up the downloadable VHD for first use - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn
