I have a been running some personalisation testing - and sometimes I get the error 'Email is missing required content'. I read in the below thread that this is when the contact sent an email (when sent by a journey not test send) is missing one or more of the personalisation fields.
This is not the behaviour I am seeing - the email is being sent even if the fields are missing.
Could someone (ideally form Microsoft) please verify the expected behaviour here. I can add more details if needed, but in essence:
- I have a test journey with 2 contacts, that sends an email with a bunch of personalisation fields.
- One contact has ALL the personalisation fields
- The other contact has only SOME of the personalisation fields
- The thread below implies the email should be blocked for the latter contact
- The behaviour I am seeing is that BOTH emails are sent - I've attached excerpts form the received emails below, also the delivery details section from Email:Insights showing both received the email
