Hi,

We used the Export to Datalake Feature in F&O to export system tables to our DataWarehouse.

There are a couple of Custom fields that have been created in the table HcmWorker. (Image below from the systembrowser)

Does anyone know where are they stored in the system in the backend?

A bit of urgency here, any help is apricated

I have the same question (0)

    Hi David,

As the field names have a suffix '_Custom', I think they are not created in Visual Studio, but configured in the application. Are these fields created as custom fields via the user interface? If so, still like Girish mentioned, the data entities need to get the same fields as well. More information about adding the configurable custom fields can be found on my blog: Custom fields: Handle with care (Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations) (dynamicspedia.com)

    Hi David Molina,

Extension fields will be store against the HcmWorker table only.

In visual studio it will be available under  Data model >> Table extensions >> HcmWorker.ModelName.

But it will be clubbed against the HcmWorker table only - There wont be any separate tables.

If you are referring to entity then you must extend the entity and add your custom fields to it.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.
