Delivery date control/Order promising on eCommerce site

Is it possible to display delivery date control on the checkout page through ecommerce? For example, if we have want to show an estimated delivery date based on the delivery date control parameter set in the AR parameters form, can we display that calculated date on the website using out of the box configuration?

    Definitely possible with an extension but not out of box unfortunately.
