Synchronization Not Working from Lead to Outlook - Dynamics 365 App for Outlook

I am having issues with appointments and tasks that are created in a Lead or Opportunity or Contact syncing over to Outlook.  They never show up.

I can sync if I create an appointment in Outlook it will sync to the entity of my choice in seconds but If I create an appointment in Dynamics it doesn't sync over at all.  I believe I have all the settings correct. Mailboxes configured, user configured for the app and in system settings I verified that the sync settings are correct.

I even get this alert when scheduling the appointment so it is reading my calendar somehow.  This error is not my issue.  I am ok with the alert.  The issue above happens even if I pick a time that is not in conflict.  I don't get an error then and it doesn't update my Outlook calendar either.

I am sure I am missing something but I can't tell what. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your reply but the alert is not the issue.  The issue is that no appointments scheduled in Dynamics will sync to Outlook, whether the time is a conflict or not.  I am ok with the alert. Does that make sense?

    Hi Andreas,

Thank you for your time.  I am not too concern with the error. I know what the error is, it is actually noticing that I have a current appointment on my calendar for the same time slot.  If I choose a different time the items do not sync over.  Everything from Outlook comes over just not the appointment generated in Dynamics.  I even ran a test to see if emails would sync over from Dynamics to Outlook with no luck.

Mailboxes and accounts have been configured appropriately.  This has worked in the past and randomly breaks.  It has been down for over 6 months and the sync for Outlook to CRM just started working in January.

    Hi,

it looks like you have conflicting appointments and the sync is running into an error.

Have a look at this msdn article

    Hello,

I have tried unsuccessfully to simulate a situation in which I get a similar error message, which seems to state that no appointments can be made with this specific user.

Have you checked your postbox settings in the email configuration section?

Someone in charge of Exchange in your company has to grant your activated dynamics postbox access in order to sync data.

Elsewise I wouldn't know what the problem could be from the given information, but I hope it helps.
