Hi All,

We are using intercompany for original SO > create DD > Intercompny PO and Intercompany SO. Now we are looking for solution on how to delink intercompany between Intercom purchase and sales and original sales order.

Intercompany > Remove link button is always disabled in my demo environment.

Could you advise if there is any setup missing to enable this menu? any limitation for this? Kindly note that we are not using MRP or prefer vendor or non stock item which I found in other post.

If there is no standard function and need to customization to delink, what are the fields that we would need to consider to remove for proper delink? The main reason of why we would like to do is that my client usually needs to update product variant before actual receiving. In AX2009, we usually do it from backend table and remove from header Intercompany checkbox, company code and order no.

Appreciate your advice. Thanks in Advance.

Regards,

Myo

RE: Intercompany 'Remove link' button is disabled

    Hi Ludwig,

By right, it should work the way what intercompany do. However, due to business nature, only 10% is not avoidable but to amend the order line information. So, for the sake of 10%, I think we should not scarified 90% to do manual way.

That's why, we are looking for customized solution for this exceptional case to achieve.

    Thanks.

    Hello Myo,

If you 'break' the intercompany link to gain more flexibility do you really need the intercompany functionality then at all?

Why not working with standard purchase/sales orders in your case?

    Have you considered this option?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig,

    Thanks for your reply.

For intercompany order between PO and SO, when the order is made, the product dimension is A but when the SO is delivered, it may change from A to B and the other party is usually accept it and do receiving. For this case, it is tedious for them to delete and recreate new lines. So, they are looking for solution just to change the product variant accordingly before do receiving. Currently, it doesn't allow me to re-select product variant if it is intercompany order.

Another reason is if there is any mistake done in one side, we just want the flexibility to break the link and post as normal order independently.

Is there any work around for this? Customization is advisable?

    Thanks.

    Regards,

    Myo

    Hi Sumit,

Thanks for the reply. I have checked in Intercompany SO side, it meets mentioned 3 criteria but unfortunately it doesn't enable the button.

    Regards,

    Myo

    Hello Myo,

I am wondering why you would want to delink the different orders/documents.

Can you elaborate on the business requirement behind?

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Myo,

The button is enabled if following three conditions are met:

    1. Delivery type is not Drop shipment

    2. There is an inventory marking present

    3. There is an Intercompany SO line for the selected line

You can check if any of these is failing.
