Hi All

I am using Powershell to install Hardware station for using on CPOS.

I got an error message when running the command line.

Where I can add the csuurl into and run app again? Please kindly advise it.

Many thanks
Ett

You can get the CSU URL either from LCS or retail channel profile form or Retail Stores form in Dynamics 365 F&O

You have to pass the install command in the below manner .\CommerceHardwareStationSetup.exe install --CsuUrl <RetailServerURL> --CertFullPath "store:///My/LocalMachine?FindByThumbprint=<ThumbprintInUpperCase>" --port 1002

I got the below error while running the command line. I wonder if I specify the store as we are using the CPOS only?
    Please kindly advice for it.

    Thanks

You have passed the parameters incorrectly please take a look on the below example command and update it accordingly from your end before executing the installation command in PowerShell.

    SYNATX:

    .\CommerceHardwareStationSetup.exe install --CsuUrl <RetailServerURL> --CertFullPath "store:///My/LocalMachine?FindByThumbprint=<ThumbprintInUpperCase>" --port 1002

    EXAMPLE:

    .\CommerceHardwareStationSetup.exe install --CsuUrl https://gk-dev3fda3f65413199dd9devret.axcloud.dynamics.com/RetailServer/Commerce --CertFullPath "store:///My/LocalMachine?FindByThumbprint=24C0B3848CA449A4B2EB242500CECD58" --port 1002

I can run HW installation and it gets fail at the last step. I guess the issue from SSL because I could not pingtest it

Can you please advise it? Thanks

It would be better if you install the hardware station using the PowerShell script as it will make it easier to understand any errors that occur.

Also, you can refer the below warning it says that this process is retired and you must utilize the sealed HW installers.
