Copilot for Sales in Outlook

Hi,

is there a way to enable Lead and Opportunity creation from the Copilot for Sales Add-on in Outlook? I cant find any settings and so far it seems to only allow contacts. We only use the sales copilot IN Dynamics 365 (standard) and not the Copilot for Sales.

Please point me in the right direction :)

Copilot for Sales in Outlook

This post doesn't seem to completely answer the question of being able to create a lead. We are only able to create Contacts and have seen documentation from MS that shows the ability to create Contact, Leads, Opportunities and Cases. This is a major issue.

Would welcome any updates from the MS team. We have also been unable to figure out how to get to the actual Copilot for Sales settings to then turn on the Opportunities, is it a local application and how do you get to it?

Copilot for Sales in Outlook

Hi @Dengliang Li

I have a similar issue, were I want to be able to track emails against Campaigns on Copilot for Sales so the emails can be saved and connected to the Campaign record on CRM Dynamics? So far, we can only connect to Contact/Account/Opportunity. Any guidance on if this is possible is helpful.

Copilot for Sales in Outlook

Hi,

According to the Microsoft documentation.

Customize forms and fields | Microsoft Learn

You can add new record types to Copilot for sales.

You can enable the creation of Opportunity records directly from Copilot for Sales in Copilot for Sales in Teams.

However, for lead, it is not possible to enable adding directly from Copilot for Sales.

According to the Microsoft documentation.

Modify record types not based on a CRM view

The lead entity's views are all Dynamics-based views, so you can't add the missing required fields.
