Timeline not loading

For the last couple of days users cannot get the timeline to load.
 
Whenever a user opens a record of any record type (Account, Contact, Case, etc.) the timeline will not load. There is no error message it just never loads and remains blank with a spinning wheel.  Is anyone else having this issue?

    Please try refreshing the record manually.
    There are some users who experience problems with the timeline not refreshing automatically, and so far, the cause is still unknown.
    It is recommended that you raise a support ticket requesting Microsoft's assistance:
