Does anyone know how a contact can resubscribe to surveys in Customer Voice?
We've not had the case of anyone asking to do this yet, but I'm sure it will come up. I have done a few tests with various of my private email addresses:
1) send survey
2) unsubscribe
3) Customer Voice Unsubscribed Recipients record appears in Dynamics
4) resend - nothing sent
All as expected. Now how would a contact resubscribe?
5) tried deleting the Customer Voice Unsubscribed Recipients record - nothing sent
6) checked the contact record in Dynamics - nothing is marked as "Do Not Allow" in the standard marketing preferences
7) can't see anything in the audit history which shows that some hidden field / property was updated.
It feels like there is something on a server somewhere which is blocking the resend. We use ClickDimensions for our marketing and I know they work like this - they mark the person as unsubscribed on their server to stop people deleting the unsubscribe record from Dynamics and sending marketing. But they provide a way for contacts to resubscribe. I can't find anything like this for Customer Voice
Anyone know how this should work?
