how to manage Dynamics 365 Tasks in Outlook desktop app client

In our business, email is our main business channel to communicate with our customers. In the sales Hub, after a sales operator responds to a customer inquiry, the operator should manually create a follow up Task via Activity > Task.

This is quite convenient with the Dynamics 365 app for outlook.

We know that we can view the list of tasks in Activity of the web client.  But is there an easy way to achieve the same directly in the Outlook app (or in the Dynamics 365 addin for outlook)?   If so, when our sales operators can mostly work from the outlook and only use the Dynamics web portal when they want to view their sales pipeline or do any data analysis.

Hope that makes sense.  Or if there is a better practice than this, kindly suggest.

Your help would be much appredicated.

I think you need to set email, appointments, contacts, and tasks to server sync in your mailbox.

    Hi Logan-

Is your mailbox configured to synchronize appointments, contacts, and tasks from Dynamics 365 to Exchange/Outlook? If it is, the tasks you create from App for Outlook should sync to Exchange/Outlook:

    Thanks,

    Dana
