Hi All,

As you know, a direct delivery order can be created by clicking menu item 'Direct delivery Order' in Sales Order form. But I'm wondering why the created purchase order can't be used workflow.

Is this a kind of on purpose limit to direct delivery business? Do you have any tips or suggestions on how to make the PO workflow created by direct deliver be enable? And could you tell me why D365 created this kind of limit to direct delivery business.

Thanks

    Hi Magno,

Thanks for your reference. I think I got the design idea of D365.

A PO created as Direct delivery is supposed to have strong correlation with SO. In fact  a PO created as Direct delivery isn't supposed to be modified in PO form by hand and it only be updated automaticly by SO modification. A workflow is also supposed to be apply to a change management. So, in Direct delivery situation, just only making a workflow of PO be enable doesn't make sense. I think this is the design idea of D365.

    Thanks

    Hey Jacky,

It seems that it's by design. Here you can see an idea already submitted to that.
