Dear,
Am getting the error "Quantity options cannot exceed total item quantity. Please enter a new quantity" after integrating lines items through econnect?
What could be the cause?. Below is the error?
Check for a negative quantity or a negative unit amount
When you call eConnect, are you creating an external XML file first? If so, could you share the contents of that XML file so the forum can view your line item data.

I changed Quantity shortage options from Cancel All to Sell Balance and did inventory reconcile to remove illegit allocations and I was able to to change quantity on the lines after integration.

All the tags you added are confusing and possibly unrelated.. how can your problem be related to all those tags that have nothing in common with your question ?
The screen shot about the error provides no context and we don't know where it happens, as the tags don't provide any hints.
Please post another screenshot of the main form where the problem occurs in GP if you want to expect some kind of related answer.

PS: some validations that are done by GP on the GUI side are not done by eConnect when running an integration, at least not necessarily with the same values
Hello,
Is it just one line on this invoice with this issue? Click the multi-line display and make sure the invoice quantity matches the sum of the billed quantity and qty fulfilled minus the qty cancelled and qty back ordered. If it looks right try deleting the line and reentering it.
