Hi,

I have a strange problem.

I have created an action menu item and placed it to SalesTable form extension.

It was perfectly visible and working.

Today I have not changed anything at all. Only thing that was done related to it is that I have placed the same action menu item in Sales and Marketing menu too.

Now I do not see the menu item on salesTable anymore. In Sales and marketing it is shown.

I have removed and put it again. Then I have deleted the Form extension and created again.

Nothing helps.

I don't understand what the problem is.

Any suggestions?

Yes please if you are having build errors then please fix them. Then if the issue is still there, then we can investigate further.

What about clearing the cache? Or check the relevant security roles to make sure the user or role accessing the SalesTable form has the necessary permissions to view and access the action menu items. Action menu item not visible on Form extension

Hi all,

I do not have any code related to this menu item. I just drag and drop it from my project.

I don't see it on SalesTable form (when I open particular sales order), not list page.

I did the build of my model with references and got error on the label file I'm using. Error says that I do not have permission to access it on local folder. Surely I run VS as Admin.

Can that be a problem?

Hi @Johnny Almeida,

Are you sure you are in the correct form? as when you open the sales order menu item, there is a feature that redirect you to Sales Table Form, so maybe it is off, and the form that you are on is SalesTableListPage not Sales table Form.

First thing, " I have placed the same action menu item in Sales and Marketing menu too." Did you just cut paste it? If in this case, it will be fully removed.

Secondly, "I have removed and put it again. Then I have deleted the Form extension and created again." Here if you put it again and deleted the form extension and created, did you re add the menu item after deleting and readding the form?

Also can you please share your related code or the menuitem properties at form level and menu item level? And also, did you assign any privilege to that menuitem?

Hi Johnny,

Are you testing with a sysAdmin role? In case it was a security issue.

Do you have any code on form related to this menu item visibility?

What happens if you remove the salesTable datasource property?

Also you mentioned that it disappeared after u added it to the menu. So does that mean it will appear again if you remove it from the menu? Even though it doesn't make sense.

Hi Layan,

To the action menu item itself I have just added labelID.

Object Type: Class

Object: My controller class.

On the SalesTable extension form I put it under SalesOrder >> Function

I have not change any property. Just assign the SalesTable as datasource there.

There is no second form extended. I just added it in Sales and marketing Menu. Have not changed anything there.
