Hello,
is there a way to integrate emirates id information into d365 F&O ? this is for the UAE region, it is an identity card issued to all the residents by govt. , there are card readers where on insert the information is read from the card into other systems like CRM is there a way to do this in F&O?

Thanks for the additional information. Still, I'm not certain how this will work. Is the user using a separate device and will all information be displayed on this card reader? The EID information once read from the card will search for the matching record in the Dynamcis 365 and then once matchiing record is found it can be used for different purposes, like,
Reteriving
1) It may display the contact information
2) If the person is a supplier, then display his supplier master details and purchase order details,
3) If the person is a customer, then display his customer master details and list of sales orders
or if Dynamics 365 does not find the matching information then it might ask whether ones wants to create a new master in employee, contrator, customer, vendor

As I don't see any standard feature for UAE, this would require a customization. It is not clear yet if the card reader will retrieve the information or if Dynamics 365 should pull information from the reader. What is the exact flow and what to be done in each of the application?

If we insert a card into the card reader, it should check whether the person is created in our system or not, if yes then whether he is an employee, contractor, supplier, or customer or contact with any of the suppliers or customers, and if possible generate a report like what is the purchase or sales history of that person, etc. to have similar functionality,

To be able to guide you, can you provide more information about the integration options from the card readers? What exactly should happen in Finance and Operations during this integration? Is information pushed or pulled from the card reader? For what process?
