Hi. I'm new to D365 Finance having spent many years working with AX2009/AX2012. We have a need to create a Sales margin report in D365 and in particular it must include
- Sales order invoices - Item level
- Project invoices - item and category
- Free text invoices.
- Financial dimensions data for each line
- Measures must be sames amount and cost (being average cost).
I've spent too much time looking for an appropriate set of standard data entities with very little success.
Am I correct in assuming that I would need to create a custom data entity(s) to achieve this report? Am I misunderstanding something about D365 and data entities?
