sharepoint reporting services error The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.

Hi all,

One of our Great plains professional have GP Business portal in SharePoint.. and I am working as a SharePoint professional. The issue we are facing is we are getting a error in Microsoft report viewer is as fallows.. 

 

sharepoint reporting services error The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized. 

 

When we try to access the Business portal from SharePoint server its working fine. But when we try to access from other systems we are getting the above error.  

Can anyone assist ous regarding this..

    Hi mreddy,

    Did you get this sorted out? My email address is on my profile if you need to be pointed in the right direction.

    I am presuming you are logging onto the SP server using an admin or domain admin account hence the security issue goes away. I am also thinking you may not be considering the authentication mechanisms.

    More info please, are we talking SP2010 or 2007, claims based win integrated, forms based, ??? you will need to be much more specific.
