Hi,
You can create a workflow targeting at this custom entity.
And then trigger it when the status is changed.
If the status = closed, send the email to the email field.

You have two options -
1. Check Sending Email checkbox on your Custom Entity page as shown below which will create OOB email field and use this field to send an email from workflow
2. You can power automate to send email to your custom field -
