Hi there,
I have created a large body of emails based on a very stripped down custom template. I'd like to add graphics design elements to each email in the fastest/easiest way possible.
Is there a way to change the email template (add a banner, for example) and force each email that was built on that template to inherit these template changes?
Or is there another efficient way to make changes to many emails at once?

Hey!
Unfortunately, we do not currently support updating emails that were created from a particular template automatically when the template is updated. Today, if you change the template, go to the email and reselect the template, you will erase the entire original content of the email and update that with the template. I would not recommend doing that if you would like to preserve the email's original content.
As a workaround, you could look to use PowerAutomate to update the email's HTML (and generated text) - if you are doing purely insert operations. Maybe you are already aware where to insert the HTML in the email's body - you can add a section or a content block by updating the HTML programmatically. I would recommend checking each email after editing it anyway, to see that your changes are reflecting correctly.

If email template is built from scratch, we should add property-reference attributes manually to implement style settings in the body.
The following article introduced an example to add a banner to email content.
In addition, we can nest image to a div container to make the picture element be center aligned.

Note:
From my test: when using layout email(1 Column, 2 Columns), we need to add banner element outside the layout container,
otherwise property-reference of img will somehow be removed after we added a new section element to email body.
