I have several users reporting an error when posting GL batches "Invalid object name 'DBID..GL10000' "; where DBID equals the database ID of a now deleted company database.
The company/companies where the postings occur used to have an intercompany relationship with the database ID appearing in the pop-up error message. I'm almost certain we executed the clear-companies script after deleting the database.
Is it okay to delete all instances of the deleted database from the DYNAMICS..IC40100 table? Would this then solve the issue the users are encountering?
What else can I review, what other SQL script can I run, to eliminate this message from appearing?
Full error message: [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]Invalid object name ‘DBID..GL10000’.
