Dear All,

I have received and put away the item through Warehouse Management App so in the system Receipts list or product receipt should be done auto but it doesn’t happened.

what configuration I have done wrong ??

secondly, I am entering the PO or item number manually and after that for put-away process either I have to enter the work id manually or I can find the work ID in APP

Regards,
Irfan Hassan.

RE: Advance Warehouse Management purchase order

    HelloGrygory.Ivanov

when we looked at this process for our D365 implementation we actually opt out from this process as we could not post automatically Product Receipts via batch as the flag late selection is not available.

It seems to be still the case from your screenshot as late selection is not available. Could you please elaborate on how you can setup a recurrent batch to post automatically the vendor  product receipts for registered stock via advanced WMS ?

    Hi Ifran,

When you process the work, the following happens:

    1. PO receiving - you create a work with Purchase order type; Inventory status of transaction is still Open at this point.

    2. PO put away - you move inventory physically in the warehouse, but inventory status of the transaction becomes Registered.

After this, you can setup periodic batch job from Procurement and sourcing > Purchase orders > Receiving products > Post product receipt.

if you set it up to look for registered quantity - it will auto-post whatever is available. That will move the inventory status to received.

    Hi Grygory,

I process the work and register the inventory and after i put away the inventory through App, my query is when I used the warehouse Management app and received the inventory through the app so the system should auto-stand Product Receipt but the system does not do that

so what configuration I am missing and what should i do to resolve this??

    Regards,

    Irfan Hassan.

    Hello Ifran,

When you process the work, you still register the inventory (when the work is completed it gets Registered inventory transaction status). Then, you can post receipts list automatically based on what is Registered in the warehouse via batch job that will monitor it (on a periodic basis with late selection checkbox).

As for your second question, we used to have work lists for that. People at the warehouse simply open the list of works and then click the work that contains PO data (assuming you do receiving first that creates a work, and then you want to resume with put-away).
