Management Reporter Configuration Console

My client is on MR2012 CU16.  She is an administrator within Management Reporter, and would like to have access to the "Configuration Console" to restart services if needed.  If she tries to run the configuration console UAC kicks in and prompts her for an administrator logon and PW.  That said, to use the console does one have to be a local admin on the same server.  Are there a minimal set of permissions that can be applied to the user?  Please advise.  Look forward to a reply.

    Hi JG,

Users don't need to be a local admin to access the MR Configuration Console.  However, they do need the Administrator role in MR Security.  You could still get the UAC prompt if you have UAC turned on or set high.  Your launching an exe so depending on the UAC settings, that could still prompt you for a admin login to be able to run the exe on the machine.
