Make Active Quote Editable

Hello,

We have an integration from our ERP system Business Central, to Dynamics Sales > Quotes. The problem is that our salespeople want to use the editable grid to update the active quotes, with a follow-up date and more fields. The problem today is that it's read-only.

Is there a way to deactivate that or create logic to ensure it works?

Thank you!

I would like more details on the purpose of an offer being editable after being activated.

The correct thing is to work as a draft, when we want to share it we must activate it (it can no longer be edited) in case we need to edit it again, just use the review button, which allows us to edit the offer again.

    Sorry, automatic translation.

    Hi CEklx,

If one quote has been actived, all fields can't be editable, which is by-design.

If you want to change some fields of the quote, you can use workflow to change it's status to Draft.

Or you can try to create one business rule to unlock some fields if the status id active:

    Hello,

As far as I know, there is no supported way to make it work the way you want. The recommended way is to "Revise" the Quote and modify the revisioned version.
