can we add the task under the custom activity type entity?

Hi all,

I have one requirement to add the task entity under the custom activity type of entity /Conference/, how can I achieve this or is it doable task or not?

Hi,

Create a new Table with type as Activity Type and Create so that it will automatically populate in Activity List.

Thanks for the approaching!!

I have already tried that thing, even I have added a subgrid (of tasks entity) manually on conference form as well. but I am not able to see the create button of task under the conference, I can only able to see the records under the tasks subgrid.

Hi partner,

If the custom entity type is activity, 'Activities' box cannot be enabled, so it will not have relationships with other OOB activities (tasks) created.

So you need create one relationship between custom entity and task:

Then you can use tasks in the custom entity.

But i don't understand this: add the task under the custom activity type entity.

Under? Can you provide further clarification? Or a screenshot?
