Release to warehouse Partial quantity of the Production Order

Hello, Experts,

my customer wants to start picking and production of the Production orders while not all the raw materials are available and to continue with the rest of the picking and production after the missing raw materials are received.

I have released the production order to the warehouse, created the work, picked the available quantity, then received the missing raw materials, but cannot release the additional quantity to the warehouse again - work is not created after the [Release to warehouse] button press.

Current transactions for the raw materials look like this after the partial picking:

Any ideas - how can I create a work for the unpicked quantity?

I've found several ways to make an additional release to warehouse for the unpicked quantity:

1) Do not start the production (Started status) until all the quantity is released to warehouse in several steps or at least the initial available quantity is picked.

2) If the production order was already started, then the picking list is already created and should be modified manually a lot to re-realease the rest of raw materials:

- Manually remove the inventory reservation in the first picking list

- Manually reduce the 'Consumption' quantity in the first picking list

- Manually Post the first picking list

- Manually Create a new picking list

- Re-Release to warehouse again

available quantity is reserved for that production order.

Since this is a sandbox environment, I have made only one active production order using that raw material:

And there is enough physical q-ty of this raw material in the warehouse:

Can you check in inventory transactions if available quantity is reserved for that production order ? it might be reserved for another one.
