Hello,

I need to add the vendor name to my purchase order line entity.

So I extended the entity and added the vendor table.

I am trying to add the DirPartyTable to get the vendor name, but when I go to do the relationship, the vendtable fields are empty.

I will add pictures

I am not sure why is not letting me add the field to join,

From what understand I need to do: vendtable.party = dirpartytable.recid

As I needed a field from the table and not the view, this is my final result.

After giving Join relation name you no need to select related field and field from the lookup. It will fetch the relation automatically from vend table.

what do you mean? i did the join and I am doing the relationship, where do that?

Maybe is case sencitive? I need to try that. I just copy the relationship from the vend entity, I am trying that, like copy paste.

I have the same issue, I add the view, but the field view is empty, and when I try to add it manually it doesnt let me.

After adding DirPartyView as datasource you need to give "Join relation name" property.

I tried DirPartyView and still the field is empty. I also check the vendor entity and I see it uses DirPartyBaseEntity but it is not letting me choose the field. what is the difference between data source and derived data source?
