Hi everyone

A couple of users have just installed the latest version of RSAT (1.210.49249.8), but couldn't run any cases. These users were Stakeholders in DevOps.

They were getting this error:

Azure DevOps request failed with error: 403 Forbidden: TF400409: You do not have licensing rights to access this feature: Web-based Test Execution. Verify your settings and try again

After changing one of their access levels to Basic, they could run RSAT without error.

Formerly they could run RSAT with just a Stakeholder access level.

Does anyone know when this changed and why it changed, or if I've got my information wrong?

Any help appreciated as always.

Hi BrandonSA,

To use RSAT, the user’s licenses needs to be basic.

An Azure DevOps Test Plans license is required only if the user will create and manage test cases.
