Unit Cost with Unit of Measure on Purchase Orders

Hello,

I am looking for a clear way that purchasing agents/buyers can see the unit cost and total cost on a PO.

Currently our unit cost is pulling from last direct cost. I updated this so for example:

Purchasing Unit of Measure is 100PK with QTY 100 (want to stock as each)

Lets say the total pack is $50/100 then the unit cost is $.50. When placing a PO for this item it only gives the cost of the $50 total. Is there a way to see the conversion on a PO of $.50 - 100PK - = $50.00 total on the purchase order.

I think Kaspars has provided the solution to what you are looking for:

"You can do a small customization to Purchase Line table (ID 39) (or Purchase Order Subbform page (ID 54) and add a column that will calculate Amount/Quantity(base). It will be 5000$ / 10000 = 0,50$"

Thank you all, but I want you to understand the UOM as well. The Posted Purchase Invoice Lines helps a little but still does not seem right. the Direct Unit cost is not taking into account the QTY on the UOM.

The Base is set as 1 Each.

The Purchasing Unit of Measure "Code" is 100PK which could really just say pack. The QTY on that Code is what matters and what is stocked to your base. 100 will stock 100 each.

Currently the Code is 100PK- 100.

On a purchase order, the PO will take the Last Direct Cost (unit) and multiply by this QTY for the total but this shows as Unit Cost for the whole unit of the pack.

However; on the PO you can only see the total of the cost of the Pack not the unit cost of the $.50

I am looking for this so the purchasers/buyers can see the conversions.

I think this is visible only after posting in Value entries.
To have the values for each piece, You would need to define the Base Unit of Measure = Piece (1 unit)
Then add additional Unit of Measures for the item
100PK = 100 Piece

then on the Purchase order You indicate the Unit of Measure 100PK and enter quantity 100, Unit cost 50$ (for one 100PK). System will understand that actually You are buying 100*100 pieces = 10000 units (in table field Quantity (Base) (5415, Decimal).
