When posting sales order, Cost of Goods Sold, Invoiced, to be split by Cost Group

Hi there,

We are using standard cost for inventory value of finished goods.

Our calculated standard cost is built out of 3 components:

1. Cost of raw material

2. Direct labor cost (calculated based on the number of hours recorded on the Route)

3. factory specific overhead.

When we invoice a sales order we want to split the posting of the Cost of Goods Sold, Invoiced into 3 separate ledger accounts (per the above 3 component),

Is that possible out of the box in D365?

Hi, did you ever come with a solution for this request? We are in the same situation and are wondering if we need to enhance the core functionality or can we use the inventory value storage report to get the information.

    Hi,

No, OOB you can only define one GL account for COGS.
