FEFO Method Utilization in Business Central

Hi Community,

I have a question regarding the Manual batch entry possibility in Business central while we are using warehouse activity.

I just want to know that how to proceed multiple quantities from a single batch. when I create the Sales Order and create Inventory Pick then it creates two line based on the expiration method of FEFO because I have less quantity in my batch 1, so system automatically pick the quantity from nearest expiry batch that's what I don't want, I want to use Both manual batch selection and automatic picking while using FEFO method.

Please Let me know is it possible? if yes so how it will proceed.

Thanks & Regards

If you want to do that you have to create reservations against a spesific batch when the sales order is created.

You can read more about reservations here:
