RSO Resource Scheduling Optimization Status always Failed

We have recently deployed RSO to D365 Field Service but regardless of what steps we take we keep getting this error;
 
There is no active transaction. This error is usually caused by custom plug-ins that ignore errors from service calls and continue processing.
 
We have tried researching and looking through troubleshooting guides to no avail. The deployment of RSO is out of the box.
 
Can anyone help?
