The fixed asset profile calculation

Hi All,

I am trying to check the fixed assets profile. However, I don't understand the amount system calculates.

- Depreciation profiles = Straight-line life remaining

- Fiscal year = 01 Apr - 31 Mar.

- Depreciation convention = None

- Acquisition date: 20 Nov 2022 with amount: 100,000,000vnd

- Service life: 2

- The FA profile calculate the amount. I don't know how to system generates this amount.

+ End of month November, I can not calculate this amount

+ The amount difference between 2 fiscal years.

    Hi,

    In this case

    Let me share details.

    Yearly depreciation is 50.000.000

    So daily depreciation is 50.000.000/365 =  136.986,30

While it is acquired 20.11.2022. This makes including 20.11.2022.

    30.11.2022 - 20.11.2022 +1 = 11 days

    136.986,30 daily depreciation *11 days =  1.506.849,32

Hi Billur, thank you for your reply.

But users don't want depreciation convention = full month.

Example: For the FA003 acquisition on 20 November, the system must run depreciation from 20 November to 30 November, but I can not calculate the amount like system generation.
