Hi, all ~ 

I  got a error  when i import data by DMF. 

A error message is only a sentence : 

An error occurred while writing the entity record

The data insert the staging table , but when staging into entity occurred a error , and i do not know how to fix this ..

    Hi,

    Can you let us know

    (a) whether you operate AX2012 or D365FO?

    (b) more information on the error? There should be an error log available that provides more details. Can you share this one?

    Hi, This is D365FO

    it does not have any more information on the error .. i view the staging only a sentence, and the document log also ..

    i check the SQL event log , but it does not have any more information about this operation.

    This is very generic message and can happen due to various reasons. Do you see data in any of the field which could be wrong?

    Also, verify mapping between staging and target fields.

    Even though my target and staging fields are exactly the same, I'm get that error

    I try to comment all my code on entity just ok.. but i want to debug it , it does not run .. and how can i fix the problem.

    Hi Mark,

    If you go to the execution details, you can open the staging table and find records with errors. Then you should be able to see a more clear error message per failed record.

    Neither the staging table nor the execution log has any details
